Miss Bangari completed her specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology in India and has worked in the NHS across south-east London and Kent since 2007. She was appointed consultant in 2017 and practises at Medway Maritime Hospital, where she is lead for clinical governance.
She sees women with heavy or irregular periods, abnormal smear results, fibroids, pelvic pain, polycystic ovaries, menopause symptoms and teenage gynaecology problems. Patients value her calm manner and the time she takes to explain each option so decisions are made together.
She is closely involved in medical education as lead for women’s health undergraduate teaching at King’s College London and Kent and Medway Medical School.
